Chicago Metropolitan Association for the Education of Young Children is seeking board members to fill a term from 2008-2012.  General requirements include:

·        Supporting the mission of the Association

·        Adhering to best practice principles of governance

·        Ability to set policy and direction

·        Supporting the Association with personal financial contributions

·        Enhancing the Association’s public standing

·        Supporting the chief executive

·        Actively participating in monthly board meetings, committees and events

·        Member of Chicago Metro AEYC
