In charge of the preschool classroom, supervise graduate assistant head teachers and civil service staff in the classroom at the Child Development Lab; co-supervise practicum students assigned to classroom: help administer the operations of the Child Development Lab: teach one lower level child development course per academic year; Take lead in assessment of undergraduate students assigned to classroom.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

Master’s degree in child development or related field; ; at least 2 years of teaching experience with preschool children and their families in programs using developmentally appropriate practices (DAP); evidence of leadership potential.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

B.S. degree in child development or related field; prior experience teaching preschool children; prior experience supervising undergraduate students in practica or internships; demonstrated commitment to personal and professional growth, including anti-bias and inclusive practices.
