Job Description:
Under supervision of the Program Director, provides day to day oversight and management of early childhood center. Site Director integrates educational services with wraparound support to children and families. Candidate supervises Master Teachers in close collaboration with the Education Coordinator. Site Director is responsible for sole supervision of office support, family support, and cooking staff. Candidate is responsible for maintaining compliance with various funding and accreditation bodies, including the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Family and Support Services, Chicago Public Schools Community Partnership Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Child Care Assistance Program, and National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Job Requirements:
Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Three years supervisory experience in an early childhood / Head Start program
Language Requirements:
Bilingual preferred; however, not required
