Supervise graduate assistant head teachers and civil service staff in a mixed-age classroom of children at the Child Development Lab; co-supervise practicum students assigned to own classroom: help administer operations of the Child Development Lab: teach one lower level child development course per academic year; take lead in assessment of undergraduate students assigned to classroom.


FT/12 mo. Starting August 15, 2014

Required:


Master¹s degree in child development or related field; at least 2 yrs.
teaching exp. with young children (incl. infants and toddlers) and their families in programs using developmentally appropriate practices (DAP); evidence of leadership potential.


Preferred:


B.S. degree in child development or related field; prior exp. teaching mixed-age groupings of infant-toddlers-twos; prior experience supervising undergraduate students in practice or internships; demonstrated commitment to personal and professional growth, including anti-bias and inclusive practices.
