Whitney Young High School is located at 211 South Laflin Street, just minutes west of downtown Chicago. The school is fully accessible by public transportation and offers free parking.
Driving: From the Loop, head west on E Adams St, cross the Kennedy Expressway, and turn left onto Laflin Street. Whitney Young will be on the left. Click here to get detailed directions from Google Maps.
Public Transportation: From the Loop, take the #126 Jackson bus west towards Austin. Deboard the bus at the Van Buren and Loomis stop. Walk southwest toward Adams; turn left on Loomis and then left on Adams. You can also take the Blue Line El Train west toward Forest Park, deboard at Halsted and leave the station on the Loomis side. Parking: Conference participants may park in the Whitney Young High School lot, located near the #3 entrance to the school on Jackson Avenue. Parking is FREE.
