This Peabody award winning service project is produced by KCET-TV, a PBS station, which responds to the needs and workplace realities of family child care providers and others who care for children at home. This series not only addresses learning and development of pre-kindergarteners, but also brings topics such as building partnerships with families, reducing stress, completing paperwork and so much more!

Big City Little Learners Exhibit:
Preschoolers Develop Literacy Skills While Exploring Chicago. Over the course of a year, teachers explored Chicago with their children. They helped children investigate aspects of the city that captured their imagination. This exhibit shows some of what they studied and what they learned, and how learning standards are integrated into the life of the classroom in many ways.
