Basic Skills Training

Chicago Metro AEYC’s Bilingual Basic Skills Test Preparation Course will prepare students for the Illinois Basic Skills Exam.  This course is designed to help students to achieve a better understanding of the content and context of the Illinois Basic Skills Examination. The course will thoroughly review and teach the core information in each subject area tested, with added emphasis on test-taking strategies and test-taking time management.  Each student is allowed to ask any question in a supportive, friendly, nurturing environment.  Discussion is channeled as needed to address the specific concerns of students. 

Course Dates:  February 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, and 26  

Time:  5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Morton College, Cicero

Participants must reside outside the city of Chicago. Space is limited. Training course is considered a consecutive training (meaning participants should attend all sessions, not just one or two sessions as some other trainings are set up).
