How many CPDUs and CEUs for social workers can I earn at the conference, and how are they recorded and submitted?

  • You can earn 6 CPDUs per day by attending 4 workshops at 1.5 hours each. This means that you can earn a total of 18 CPDUs over the course of all 3 days.
  • Only teachers who have submitted a Certificate Renewal Plan are eligible for CPDU credits. There are two documents that Chicago Metro AEYC provides for teachers in need of CPDUs: an evaluation form and an evidence of completion form. The participant needs the evidence of completion form and Chicago Metro AEYC needs the evaluation form for our records. Participants must hand us a completed evaluation form in order to get the evidence of completion form. We CANNOT hand them the evidence form before we get the evaluation.
  • CEU forms, or Certificate of Attendance forms for Certified Social Workers, are two parts. Chicago Metro AEYC gives attendees a form, which they will take to a session and fill it out, return the yellow copy to us and keep the white copy. This group of people do not need to submit evaluation forms.
